ADU Site Plan
For this detached ADU, the site plan was used to carefully position the new dwelling within an irregular San Jose lot while maintaining required setbacks, access, and separation from the existing home.
Interior Kitchen Design
The interior elevations were developed to coordinate cabinetry, appliances, finishes, and storage within the compact ADU kitchen, creating a functional layout with a clean, cohesive residential feel.
ADU Floor Plan
The floor plan was designed to create a complete two-bedroom home within a compact footprint, combining an open kitchen and living area with private bedrooms, a full bathroom, dedicated laundry, and efficient circulation.
ADU Exterior Elevations
The exterior elevations illustrate the ADU’s overall architectural character, rooflines, proportions, openings, and exterior materials from multiple sides of the building.

ADU Roof Plan
The roof plan coordinates the ADU’s roof form, slopes, ridges, and drainage while supporting the architectural design and structural framing requirements.
ADU Foundation Plan
The foundation plan defines the structural support system for the ADU, including footing locations, slab and foundation requirements, and the elements needed to safely transfer building loads to the ground.
Building Sections
Building sections show how the ADU is assembled vertically, illustrating the relationship between the foundation, walls, ceilings, roof structure, and interior spaces.
